Assembly

Mr. Cuddihy’s 5th /6th class led the senior assembly today. They showed us their projects on 19th century Ireland. There were projects on sport, the famine… Third class played their tin whistles, fourth class sang, fifth class said a poem and 6th class talked about Advent. Some members of The Yellow Flag Committee showed us the Yellow Flag we received this year. Ms. O’Byrne’s 3rd class got the trophy for having the best attendance in November.

The Junior Assembly was led by Ms. Lawlor’s 2nd class. They told us all about how to care for the environment. They did a demonstration of things that can be recycled. There were songs and poems from the other classes. Ms. Murphy’s Senior Infants got the woolly mammoth for having the best attendance amongst the junior classes in November.
