Science Project

Hi folks,

Just a quick update from Mr Cuddihy’s class who have been observing the life cycle of the frog over the past number of weeks. Obviously with the school being closed this hasn’t been possible so here are a few pictures to give you an idea how they are getting on. The frogspawn was harvested in Annacurra and the majority of tadpoles have been released back into the same stream. We have kept seven tadpoles that we hope will make it all the way to adulthood. They will then be released back to the same stream. See if you can spot the bulge where the back legs are beginning to develop. Also note the colour change in the latest pictures. Can my class please record any changes you have noted in your science copies?

Here is a short quiz to test your knowledge about the lifecycle of a frog. When you follow the link you will be asked for the Game Pin; it is 016403. Enjoy https://kahoot.it/challenge/016403?challenge-id=cbd6d66f-c531-490e-ae36-34e4ea3719bc_1585137986357
