4th Class Bring the Normans to Life!

Mr. Finnegan and Mr. McDonald’s 4th Class have been learning all about the Normans and their arrival in Ireland. As part of their homework, the boys and girls created amazing models of motte-and-bailey and stone castles, showing the impressive designs the Normans used for defence and power.

The students also learned how the Normans changed Ireland and how they eventually became more Irish than the Irish themselves.
