Book Week 2015

Monday:Julie Rose McCormick is performing puppet shows forJunior Infants to second class pupils. Margaret Byrne (former teacher in St. Patrick's ) is visiting Ms. Lappin's and Mrs. O'Sullivan's classes to read stories. Ms. O' Byrne's pupils will be buddy reading with Ms. Quinn's class. John Finlay (former teacher in our school) will be visiting Mr. O'Sullivan's class and teaching them all about the Ancient Egyptians. Book Fair (Bridge Street Books) in the hall 1pm - 3pm. You are welcome to come in and take your children to the fair.

Tuesday: 1st and 2nd classes are doing drama workshops with 'Razzle Dazzle'. Mr. O'Sullivan's class will visit the local library. Ms. O'Leary's class will go on a historical walk with John Finlay. Ms. Neilan's class will do buddy reading with Ms. Lappin's class. Mr. Cuddihy's class will do buddy reading with Mrs. O'Sullivan's class.

Wednesday: Rita McAulay (former principal) is visiting Ms. Lawlor and Ms. Quinn's class to read stories. Grandparents are visiting Ms. Kissane's and Ms. Lappin's classes to read stories. Ms. Quinn's and Ms. O'Sullivan's classes will visit the local library. Mr O'Sullivan's class will do buddy reading with Ms. Byrne's class. Mr. Cuddihy's class will visit the library at C.C.M. Book Fair in the hall 1pm - 3pm

Thursday: Author, Cormac Mac Raois (former teacher) will visit Mr. O'Sullivan's class. Author, Tom Mc Caughren will visit Ms. O'Leary's, Ms. O' Byrne's and Mr. Cuddihy's classes. Author, Peter Regan will visit Ms. Neilan's class. Rebecca will read stories to Ms. Kissane's class. Deirdre Malone will read stories to 1st classes. Ms. Jameson's class will do buddy reading with Ms. Lawlor's class.

Friday: All classes will dress up as their favourite book character. Ms. O' Byrne's class will go on a historical walk with John Finlay. Ms. Jameson's class will visit the local library. The senior classes will attend a quiz in the hall with Mr. Cuddihy.
